What credentials should you look for in a dental implant practitioner?

I have read posts in the past and other things on the internet where you are advised to choose dentists who have years of exeperience with dental implants and are well renouned for this, but how can a patient come about this information? Should a dentist have it on their site or is there some other resource patients can attain this information through?

Is it normal for jaw to ache after dental implant?

Q.
I know that the gums are supposed to be sore and sensitive as they are right around the area where the procedure was performed, but is it normal for there to be an ache in the jaw as well? I got my dental implant in my lower teeth and i can definately feel a soreness in my jaw around this area?

Why is dental implant causing me speech problems?

I had a dental implant crown just over a year ago, but have developed problems with my speech since having it which i hoped would go away but have not. Do you over this has happened to any other patients, or am i jsut unlucky? I have got an appointment next week to get it checked out and hopefully sorted, but do you know what the problem may have been?

Normal to have a lisp after getting a dental implant?

What to do if gum bleeds when cleaning dental implant?

Q.
I have had Nobel All on 4 implants.Three have done very well but the forth one on the right side has given me trouble , the gum is quite sore and seems to have grown up the side of the implant, and when i clean my implant the gum bleeds. I have been back to my implant dentist, and he said I should see a periodontal person, because he does not do gum surgery which he thinks I might need, could you please advise me in this matter.
