Are dental implants causing tooth sensitivity?

Q. Hi, I had dental implants about six months ago. Initially had no pain. After four months I had my teeth put in and since then have had a constant dull ache in the area, including sensitivity to heat, cold and sweetness. Thinking it was possibly the next tooth, I have had root treatment on that tooth, but it has made no difference. Now neuralgia is being suggested, but I have researched and don’t see the symptoms as the same. What else could it be? Thanks
A. I doubt its the implants, ocasionally you may get pain from them if they become infected but your symptoms suggest a tooth to be the cause of the pain, maybe one not in the immediate area of the implant. Ask you dentist to invetsigate further.
