Can I get implants for permanent tooth that didn’t erupt?

Q. Toward the back of my mouth there are two gaps where permanent teeth just didn’t come through after my baby teeth fell out. After x-rays it was discovered there wasn’t even any permanent teeth waiting to come through. What I now want to know is if I can get dental implants for this area? Will the bone be okay?
A. Unfortunately you really need to be examined before I can answer this question.
