Q. I have an infection from a root canal which didnt work and will need to have the tooth removed and an implant or bridge put in. I am very concerned about having a space there after having it pulled and while I wait for the implant. Is it possible to have a temp bridge/implant straight after the tooth has been removed despite the infection? Thanks so much for your help,
A. Yes you could have a temporary bridge placed if the placement of the implant isn\’t possible when the tooth is removed. You might be able to have the tooth removed, implant placed and temporary tooth all fitted on the same visit, this is something I do a lot of at my clinic in Essex
