Can I get an implant and what would be the average cost?

Following and abscess, on a filled lower molar, I was referred to Carisbrooke, in Leciester, for root canal treatment. I attended the consultation last night and when the filling was removed it revealed that the tooth was completely split from front to back and so root canal is not a possibility. The teeth either side are healthy and unfilled and so I would not be happy with a bridge. I also do not wat a false tooth and so other than extraction, the only other option is an implant. Assuming I have sufficient bone in the jaw to tap in the titanium ‘peg’, what would be the approximate price for the implant? I currently have a temporary filling and so want to act quickly. Many thanks.,
