Is it worth going abroad for implant treatment?

Q. Hi, I need at least one tooth in my rear lower jaw. I had 2 pulled out 6 months ago. I can’t eat that side of my mouth at all now. How much would it approximately cost for an implant? Is it worth me going abroad for the treatment? Thanks Andy
A. An implant in the UK will cost £2000 approx. As for going abroad ‘you pays your money and takes your chance!”

Is cost dentist gave me for three implants accurate?

Q. I am hopeful to have dental implants. Could you please advise me on the cost of specifically three dental implants? This is how many my dentist said I would need and I want to see if the price is accurate if you can please tell me?
A. It is difficult to say with out a consultation but I would suggest a starting fee from £2200/ implant depending on where about you are having the treatment done. My fees would be from approx £3000/ implant which reflect my position as a GDC registered Specialist in Prosthodontics

What is the cost of a consultation for implants?

A. A consultation is £90 to include your x-rays and a full report.

What is the average price of an implant and what may affect this?

Q. What would you say is a normal price to pay for implant for the complete upper mouth Dr Moore and also getting teeth extracted if this makes a difference. SAnything else I should consider please?
A. Its very difficult to give you an average price for a very complex case like this. The cost will depend on the number of implants placed, how many teeth will be fitted and what they are made of, tooth extractions complicate things too. You will need to see several dentists for consultations to get various quotes and options before you can decide what the bets price/treatment will be.

Can I re-use bridge or will I need to get implants?

Q. I have a 6 tooth bridge which 3 teeth hold, the bridge is 19 years old unfortunately one of the teethholding the bridge has started to hurt and my dentist thinks it has started to crumble. If I did consider implants would I have to have all the teeth holding the bridge replaced. And could I use the existing bridge on the new implants. If not what would the price be to have 3 implants and a new 6 bridge ?
A. Hi, you won’t be able to reuse theold bridge. You might not need to replace all the teeth that anchor the bridge though. It might be possible to just place implants in and around the already missing teeth as an estimate 3 implants holding 6 teeth will cost £6000-7000

What would be the price for an implant denture for upper mouth?

Q. what would be the price of an implant supported complete denture for upper mouth please dr bohara
A. This really depends on the number of implants involved and if you want the support to come from locators or bar work.

The cost can range from £6000 to £10000 depending on what you want.

What is the rough cost of dental implants?

Q. I am a 34 year old, with only six top front teeth and seven lower front teeth and have major difficulty eating. I went bankrupt last year through a divorce, what is the most cost affective way to get implants and what would a rough cost be as I have a fobia of dentures and am very scared of dentists. Regards
A. I guess funds might be difficult, so you may need to consider several quotes from dentists, perhaps those undergoing training. The costs might vary considerably so visit a few clinics to get a better idea of the costs.

What would it cost to replace six teeth with implants?

Q. Hello Dr Glover, what would it cost to replace six front teeth that are in a very bad condition and that have not been taken out yet? Would it take a couple of appointments or more? Thanking you.
A. Hi thanks for your question.

As a rough guide on prices you could expect:
The cost of an extraction could be in the region of £100
The cost of an individual implant and crown in the region of £2000
However it’s not always necessary to replace every tooth with an implant as implant retained bridges can be used which will affect the cost.

The best thing really is to have a consultation with a dentist who will be able to give you an accurate estimate of treatment costs following an indepth consultation.  They will be able to advise you for all your treatment needs as it may be that you don’t need as many implants and some of your natural teeth can be saved.
