Is it possble to get dental implants in two appointments?

Is it at all possible to get a the whole dental implant malarky done in one or two appointments. I mean getting a tooth cextracted, getting the dental implant and then getting a tooth attached to this? Or does the gums and bone need more time to recover between these different stages?

Why is dental implant causing me speech problems?

I had a dental implant crown just over a year ago, but have developed problems with my speech since having it which i hoped would go away but have not. Do you over this has happened to any other patients, or am i jsut unlucky? How long does treatment time take for dental implants with crown?

I am going to be getting a dental implant with a crown next week, but not sure exactly how long this whole process will take. Anyhow, I would like to know whether the crown is likely to get discoloured over time, or whether it will remain at the same colour. Are things like smoking and red win adn things like that more likely to stain them?
