hi

is it possible to have dental implants refitted? one of mine has begun to come loose and i can wobbly the tooth quite a bit with my finger now. will it be ok to have the implant refitted into the gap, or will i have to have another course of treatment to go with it? i really do not want a denture plate as one dentist recommended, so any help you can give would be brilliant.

Hello. I am hoping for some advice from a dental expertise in implants. I have spent a lot of money on having my whole mouth made over including three front implants. I now am not satisfied with the outcome, as my gums seem to have changed and my teeth look very long, and the position has changed in my mouth and different from the old look. I feel and wish my dental doctor had explained how gums could change or shrink and showed me the teeth before she put them into my mouth finally. I am very unhappy with the color and with the placement. My dentist thinks they look good so she thinks I should be happy. What should do. many thanks

I am considering the All on 4 implants to upper and lower jaws. I have 14 teeth which need removing, I currently have a denture of 4 teeth on the upper jaw along with 7 natural teeth which are in poor condtion. On the lower jaw I have 8 teeth and no denture I can provide an x ray and would just like an idea of costs.
I suffer with gum disease and severe bone loss I have had a number of consultations which would require me to travel to various parts of Europe which I would like to avoid if possible

i am 43 and have very severe gum disease which has resulted in me losing quite a few teeth. I have, as a result lost a lot of bone and wear a partial denture. i was considering a fixed denture or implants but my dentist is not qualified in the bone grafting needed to make this option possible. it is causing me some distress now and i’m finding it hard to get the proper advice. could you explain whether bone grafting and implants may be an option and how successful this process is. I am a smoker, but am taking steps to quit. Can you help?

Hi, quite a few years ago i had a bridge fitted on my bottom 3 front teeth, sme years later it has alot of build up of plauqe around it and the gums have gone down showing the two teeth either side underneath which look black. I have only just been to see my dentist today after not going for a number of years due to fear! He has told me that it has gum disease around it and is swollen but i cannot have this done on the nhs and can only have a replacement bridge done privately costing around £1300 is this right?? I have recently had implants to two front teeth. The problem is when smiling I have a high lip line and because the teeth don’t actually enter the gums there are small gaps which when smiling my friends say look like black areas instead of seeing pink gums. Is this right or should they have rebuilt up the gums to look more natural. Also I feel saliva building up and blowing through the gaps. Surely this cant be right.

The temp plate is badly fitting and uncomfortable and the sooner I am able to start the better. Could you also give me some idea of the costs involved. My other front tooth is also a crown, but to avoid costs I would be happy to have a replacemnt for this.,

I am going to my doctor soon to have all my teeth removed and he wants me to have a denture but i really like the thought of dental implants. Do you think once my teeth have been removed and the disease has cleared up that i can have implants? ANd how long does that take usually? thank you for any info you can give,

Hello. I have a question for you Dr Glover. I had 4 teeth pulled out in the upper front of my mouth. I now have 4 dental implants and now I am waiting to have 4 teeth put actually I am missing a fifth tooth. This is ending up costing me alot of money. The extractions and the implants were reasonable but replacing the lost teeth is very costly. I don’t know the best solution to my problem.,
