i have a 3 broken teeth, i will not go to a dentist has i choke very esay it only takes a small amount of water to run to the back of my mouth and i will start to choke and when this happens i have to shut my mouth very quickly and breath throught my nose to stop me haveing a full chokeing fit is there any way round this to help me.
any suggestions doc?

Hi Kailesh, I have had seven impants couple of years ago abroad and would want to put in the screws now,but it’s real been difficult for me to do this as kings college and guys hospital would not want to do this for me now,stating that i should have to visit a dentist specialist to access me. so i hereby seek for your assistance and will be grateful. Dear Dr. Solanki,I had two top right teeth extracted 6 weeks ago, i am having implants in 2 weeks time, but since having the teeth extracted, i have developed a few deep wrinkles above my top lip, is this due to the extraction (i have a partial denture in at the moment) will the implants reduce these lip wrinkles and will they give me support for my top lip. thankyou.,

I HAVE JUST HAD A TOOTH REMOVED AFTER 5 MONTHS OF ABSESSES AND CANCELLED NHS DENTAL APPOINTMENTS. DURING THE 3 TREATMENTS FOR ROOT CANALS THE DENTIST CHIPPED MY FRONT TOOTH WITH THE DRILL (WHICH I HAVE HAD TO HAVE FILLED) AFTER HAVING THE ABCESSED TOOTH REMOVED i HAVE NOW NOTICED THE ONE NEXT TO IT IS CRACKED WHICH I DONT THINK IT WAS BEFORE AND I AM STARTING TO GET HEADACHES AGAIN. A FRIEND OF MINE SAID SHE HAD DENTAL IMPLANTS FREE AT A SHEFFIELD HOSPITAL A FEW YEARS AGO AS SHE IS SCARED OF THE DENTIST. i TOO AM SCARED OF RETURNING TO MY DENTIST AS THE MORE I GO THE MORE I NEED DOING. I DIDNT USED TO BE SCARED OF THE DENTIST MY PREVIOUS DENTIST HAD BEEN THERE FOR 15 YEARS BEFORE IT GOT TOOK OVER. Hi. Could you please tell me how long it takes for the procedure per implant, and is it a painful one? If so, is sedation possible? Also I have mild lupus with no organ involvement and I am not on steroids, should this be problematic to my having this treatment? I appreciate your help.,

My son is nearly 14 and had a porcelain tooth built on a rod following root canal surgery (front bottom tooth). Today it came away and the dentist says it is the root that has fractured and that it now must come out. Can you recommend what we should do next please,

Hi History is:- Upper left 2 peg lateral. Traumatic fracture at gum line approx 1998. Root canal filled and crown fitted. Short peg as OPG revealed dog-leg shaped root. Root now has hairline crack. Currently aged 38, occasional rugby (now very infrequent), 5-a-side football). Questions:- 1. Am I likely to be a suitable candidate for implant (lifestyle factors can be tweaked !)? 2. What is life expectancy / replacement period for implants; will they need revisions and if so how many can be done; what is position if no further revisions are possible? 3. I expect rugby contra-indicates implants but what about football (I have always worn orthodontic mouthguard for both). 4. Possibly some occasional night-time bruxing – would this preclude implant / would a lower guard help? 5. Any idea on likely cost? Many thanks,
