Q. hi, my ? is: i was told by my dentist that i have bruxism. i am missing teeth. he recomends me getting an upper overdenture –with him leaving in what teeth i have left, he says that any kind of implants will not work , due to my extentsive teeth grinding. what is your opinion on this? i would rather have implants then a full palate upper denture. what are my options? thanks,
A. Implants can still work if you have enough bone, I would also recommend that if you do have implants you should wear a bite guard every night to protect your new teeth
