Do dental implants look just like real teeth?

Q. I know I can expect a good level of pain following the implant procedure but what I am mainly concerned with is just how natural the thing will feel. I am getting one implant and an attached crown. It will obvisouly take some time to get used to it but will it really look and feel just like a normal tooth? I just don’t like the idea of having something quite so alien in my mouth!
