Do dentists use different types of dental implant?

A. Hi, many thanks for your email. Unfortunately, dental implant types and brands are a mine field, with the boom of implants onto the open market and the number of implant systems available being too many to mention, there are literally hundreds. The better implantologist in the uk however do use only more renowed systems with good history. The main systems are Astra, noble, 3i and strumann. If i was having an implant placed i would have one of these systems. Hope this is helpful.
