Does age have any effect on being able to get dental implants?

Q. I am in my early 70s but would like to get dental implants. My upper teeth are fine but I only have 9 lower teeth remaining in a good condition and would need to get the rest removed beforehand. Would it be advisable to get a partial or complete denture in my case? Also, age will not make a difference, will it?
A. Age will not count unless you are on certain medications.
if you are having your lower teeth out then you will need a complete lower denture.
