Q. How long is it normally necessary to wait for gums to heal after tooth is removed before dental implants can be placecd? Are we talking weeks or even months?

Each situtation is different. On many occasions implants can be placed 6- 8 weeks after extarction. In some cases it is best to wait about 4 months after extractions.
