Q. How long does the dental implant procedure take? Would I be able to take a couple of hours out of a working day or would it require time for recovery? Also, how long would the procedure after that in the future to get a crown fitted take?
A. hi many thanks for your email, the whole procedure generally takes 14 weeks from placement stage.
2:implant placed, left to heal for 8-10 weeks., generally this stage is done within an hour and requires maybe a days recovery time.
3:impression of the implant to make the final crown
4:placement of final crown two – three weeks after impression stage.
