I have a four bar implant in my lower jaw, could this be adapted to a new method of fixing?

Q. I have an obsolete four bar implant in my lower jaw which my denture just sits on with a single clip. Mydentist says this cannot be replaced now. Is it Possible to adapt this four positin bar to a new method of fixing.Or to utilise the four drilled fixing points for any other method.,
A. It really depends on what implant system was used. You would need to have a consultation with a dentist, or the dentist that originally did the treatment to discuss what options may or may not be available.
