Is bone grafting a major surgery?

Q. Is the bone grafting procedure that is sometimes necessary for dental imaplants considered a relatively major surgery? I guess it must need to be performed at the hospital? Will I be put to sleep if I have to have it dones. Will bone be transferred to mouth bone straight away?
A. Bone grafting is a fairly major procedure although it is usually performed in the dental practice. we often use sedation for block bone grafting although not always, you should speak to your dentist for detailed instructions
