Q. Is the success of a dental implant affected by the teeth around it? If so, I don#t think my teeth in the site where I would get the implant are in that great a condition. What choices do I have in terms of treatment?
A. If the adjacent teeth are not healthy they should be included in the treatment plan or treated prior to the placement of the implant.
