Q. I ADMIT I AM IN THE FINAL STAGES OF HAVING MY TOOTH FITTED ON THE IMPLANT BUT WHEN I WENT FOR THE FITTING THE TOOTH WENT WAY UP OVER THE GUM. THE DENTIST SAID IT WAS BECAUSE I HAD BROKEN BONE WHEN I BROKE MY TOOTH AND THAT HE WOULD COAT IT WITH A PINK PORCELAIN i am worried that it wont look nice have you heard of anything like this please?,

Yes it is possible to use this technique, especially if the gum has shrunk back since the implant was fitted. The only other solution is to rebuild the bone, if the implant has been fitted then this options will be very difficult without starting all over again,
