I need an implant but my main nerve is set too high, any advice?

i\’ve had an xray to look at replacing 3 teeth bottom left but my main nerve sits quite high and the pin used to secure implants is a set length so i\’ve been told implant stem needs to be short as cutting into that nerve is not good, is there an answer when main nerve so high, thanks,
