I awoke to a cracking sound from grinding my teeth and developed a bacterial infection. Still hurts to put pressure on it. What could it be?

I had 3 dental implants placed 9 months ago. Everything was fine, but after waking up to a \”cracking\” sound from grinding my teeth in the middle of the night – I have had pressure and pain over one of the teeth. Dentist took x-rays a month ago and said everything was fine. However since then I developed a bacterial infection the left sde of my face. Doctor says it was probably a sinus infection and I have taken antibiotics. The bacteria pain has eased, but it still hurts to put pressure on the tooth. Could it be sinus or the tooth. I know with a real tooth the sinus could cause this pressure, but not sure if that is the same for implants. This particular tooth is one that had a sinus lift. Not sure where to go now. Advise please,

I need an implant but am concerned this will affect my IVF treatment. What should I do?

Hello, I havea failed root canal which has already been re rooted twice. I imagine I will need an extraction very soon (visiting dentist tomo) – and then an implant etc. However, I am due to start IVF treatment in a month and am concerned about the dental treatments and x rays needed if I pursue the implant route. If I leave the tooth extracted – and no implant or bone graft for 12-14 months, is this going to be a problem? Also, what is the risk of dry socket with extraction? This terrifies me! Thanks,,

Should I get a Maryland or cantilever bridge and how long would they last?

Good afternoon, I recently had a front tooth (post crown) removed due to an infection, i also lost a lot of bone at the same time. ive worn a denture for 6mths and its healed well but im not sure which bridge is more suitable for me (i cannot stand the idea of an implant as i would prob need a bone graft and also it would mean another 12mths for healing) i waver to the maryland as is less invasive, but feel the cantilever may give me a better look and last longer (although my teeth at either side are 100% fine and this bothers me to mess. which bridge do you feel to be the better in looks, feel & how long they last? im so desperate to get my smile back! thank you so much ,

How can I make sure I get a well qualified dentist to perform dental implants?

I have a crown with post that is frequently uncomfortable. I\’ve seen my local dentist, he is to discuss the xray with the senior person in the practice and get back to me. He talked about an implant, how can I be sure that I get a well qualified person for this procedure if it comes to it. He told me the cost would be £2,500 which seems a rather abitrary and high figure.,
