Are there any dental insurance companies that cover dental implants?

Q. is there any dental insurance companies that cover the cost of having dental implants, put in. thanku,
A. Hi. Most dental insurance plans do not cover dental implants. Some plans you can pay extra on to the premium which will cover the provision of dental implants in specific circumstances usually if a tooth is lost through trauma or an accident but it\’s important to ready any policy conditions carefully. Does dental insurance help with implant treatment?

Q. does dental insurance help with any of the costs of dr glover. what factors would affect this if you please?
A. Hi thanks for your question.

The answer really depends on the insurance policy and any terms and conditions that go with it. 

In general dental insurance does not cover dental implants, but may cover the cost of the crown.

Some insurance products will cover dental implants if a tooth is lost through trauma such as an accident.  However sporing injuries are generally not covered unless you’re wearing an appropriately made and constructed mouthguard.

The key is to carefully read any policy wording.

What dental insurance will cover implants?

Q. Would you happen to know if there is any kind of dental insurance that will the ocver the cost of dental treatment like implants? I need one single dental implant and then a tooth attached, if that makes any difference to the insurance.
A. There isn’t many insurance companies that cover implants due to the cost but you could try Norwich Union (Avviva)

Will dental insurance cover the cost of dental implants?

Q. Have any of your patients or do yourwelf know as a dentist whether dental insurance is able to cover any of the cost of dental implants? This is something I keep finding mixed information about on the net about whether it is allowed.
A. It really does depend on your insurance policy.
Some policy’s will cover dental implants if a tooth is knocked out as a result of trauma, but there are often very strict conditions with this.
It really is a case of shopping around to find the product that suits your needs best.
