I’m a Dentist in the US. Can You Give Me Any Information on Friatec Frialit-2 Dental Implants?

Hello, I work at an oral surgery practice in the US and have a patient that needs an MRI. She had a Friatec Frialit-2 dental implant placed back in 1998. I’m trying to find information on what metals the implant is made of. At the time those implants were distributed by Interpore International here in the US. I can’t seem to find anything on these implants currently other than they are used in the UK. Hoping you can help me with this.

My Gums are Bleeding Following Implant Treatment, What Should I Do?

Hello, I’m hoping you can give me some advice. I had my implants put in about 2 months ago and am aware that they take long than this to fully heal, but my mouth is in a lot of pain. It hurts to eat or even open my mouth, and the gums are bleeding quite a lot.My dentist hasn’t been brilliant when it comes to giving me advice on this, all he does is tell me which pain killers to try.What do you think I should do about this?

There’s A Crack In One Of My Dental Implants. Should I Go Back To My Dentist To Get It Looked At?

Hello Dr Fahey, I’m wondering if you can help me. I have two implants that are around a year old.They have been perfect for me up until a couple of days ago. I was eating a boiled sweet and crunched it against one of my implants. At the time I didn’t notice anything but it appears that there is a slight crack in the implant. It hasn’t caused any issues so far, however I don’t want it to in the future. Do you think it will be fine or should I head back to my dentist to get it checked out? What could potentially happen? My crowns are turning grey at the top, why is this?

The tops of my crowns on the bottom side last two teeth have both turned grey. I am in Germany and my dentist told me it was nothing to worry about, but could not explain to me in English why this had happened. This has never happened to me before. thanks.,

I have a four bar implant in my lower jaw, could this be adapted to a new method of fixing?

I have an obsolete four bar implant in my lower jaw which my denture just sits on with a single clip. Mydentist says this cannot be replaced now. Is it Possible to adapt this four positin bar to a new method of fixing.Or to utilise the four drilled fixing points for any other method.,

Should I get dental implants instead of a bridge?

i have protruding top 4 front teeth and an overbite my dentist improved the look by putting veneers on the teeth but the 2 biggest are failing as it looks like whats left of my own tooth is dieing.can i have dental implants by using bone grafting to alter the shape of my jaw after having the 2 front teeth out to emable me to position them straight down.as i don’t feel a bridge is strong enough on the front but my dentist doesn’t do implants and grafting.,
