What is your professional opinion on the All on 4 method of implant dentistry?

What is your professional opinion of the all on 4 method of implant dentistry. I ask because the dentist who did a four implant and bar overdenture on my lower jaw dismisses the procedure out of hand when i asked him about it. However, a perodontist, with experience in the all in four technique, tells me after a full consultation (with c-scan) that I am a good candidate for the all on 4 (for me all on 5) procedure for my maxilla. I ask for your opinion because I am now confused and would appreciate feedback.

I am not happy with my dental implants, but my dentist won’t listen, what can I do?

Hello. I am hoping for some advice from a dental expertise in implants. I have spent a lot of money on having my whole mouth made over including three front implants. I now am not satisfied with the outcome, as my gums seem to have changed and my teeth look very long, and the position has changed in my mouth and different from the old look. I feel and wish my dental doctor had explained how gums could change or shrink and showed me the teeth before she put them into my mouth finally. I am very unhappy with the color and with the placement. My dentist thinks they look good so she thinks I should be happy. What should do. many thanks

How do I actually find a dentist who is experienced with dental implants?

Hello Dr Bohara, This ia a question that follows on from one I asked earlier on about “bad experience with a bone graft….” You replied that it is important to select a surgeon who is experienced enough with the procedure to place dental implants. I live near Chelmsford in Essex and would like to go to the most experienced in this area, but how can I find out this information? Why is there a discrepancy between the healing times for dental implants?

I have 3 implants already, which were place in RSA. The healing time for 2 was 4 weeks, for the other 8 weeks, as there was infection present. Here in the UK most dentists specify a healing period of 4 to 6 months before final crown placement. I do not understand the difference between these healing times, as my SA implants have taken just fine.,

Am I right to assume that the better the implant manufacturer the higher the price?
