Are you able to fit dental implants under sedation?

November 28th, 2011
Q.

hello

I am looking to get implants to hold my dentures in place, but am really nervous when it comes to the dentist. How is this procedure usually performed, how invasive is it and can i have sedation to help calm my nerves?
I really, really want to have the treatment to stop my dentures from rubbing my gums raw, so i will try anything to help me have the procedure

thank you Dr Moore

I require sedation during procedure to mend my tooth after a fight. Can you advise?

May 25th, 2011
Q.
Hello Dr Glober. My situation is that , during a fight i lost my upper jaw`S teeth and i canh tell you that i need to be sedative by my dentist BEFORE my actual injection in my gum. Sedative which – this relieves anxiety and causes temporary relaxation without putting me to sleep. i would like to know how much it would end up costing me and where your dental practice is  actually  based as i live in london. many thanks for your time and I hope you can help,

I want implants but suffer from seizures and am worried that they will affect the procedures and the new teeth.

April 27th, 2011
Q.
hello, i really need a new set of teeth and like the sound of implants rather than full dentures which would come loose. The problem is that i suffer from seizures especially both awake and asleep and worry that i may both have one during the procedure and ruin my new teeth if i clash them together when i am having a seizure, what advice could you give? many thanks doctor

Would mild lupus have any effect on dental implants?

March 31st, 2011
Q.
Hi. Could you please tell me how long it takes for the procedure per implant, and is it a painful one? If so, is sedation possible? Also I have mild lupus with no organ involvement and I am not on steroids, should this be problematic to my having this treatment? I appreciate your help.,
