Q. What may cause the dental implant to fail. Is it something done by the person or does it just sometimes happen?
A. hi many thanks for your email, as long as the implant is placed fully into bone, under sterile conditions, the main reasons for failure would be:
lack of blood supply around the implant site, medical complications, infection around the implant during integration. smoking, and immunocomprised conditions, poor bone quality, poor quality implants.
