What will happen to my implant in the future?

Q. Dear Dr Moore, I would like to get an implant done in my upper front jaw (either SLActive or Roxolid). However, I was wondering about what will happen in the future. Say, in 30 years when I may need a full upper overdenture. Can the already existing implant be incorporated in such a system? So that one less implant will need to be inserted? Or would the already existing implant have to be removed and a whole set of new ones be inserted? Thank you for your time!,
A. You should be able to incorporate the old implant with any new ones by just changing the top part of the implant rather than the whole thing
