Q. My dentist said that I am going to be getting a healing cap, and I think this was something to do with my dental implant. Could you please give me some info or guidance?
A. A healing cap is placed over the exposed implant during a short procedure to form the shap of the gum before the final tooth is made it usually involves a all incision in the gum under local anaesthetic
