Hi Dr. Moore. My crown has fallen out 7 times this year. My dentist glues it back in and doesn’t charge me but I am tired of having to have it glued back in every 6 weeks. I’ve stopped eating real sticky foods and I floss down and out, never pulling up. I told my dentist I thought she cut the tooth too low when she did my root canal treatment, but she says it might be because I chew too hard. Is this my fault or hers, and what can I do?

Hello there, thank you for your question. Without seeing you, I don’t really know why this is happening, but you need to find a solution. Why don’t you ask your dentist if they can remake it, or if the tooth needs removal, what the alternatives might be?
