Q. I have new lower denture (whole set) about to be retained by mini dentures next week. I have a worry though. food or tablets get inside plastic gum (underneath tongue) and lodge up into the denture underneath false teeth. Is this something that cannot be resolved or perhaps is it the result of the denture being ill fitting?? Many Thanks,
A. Once held by the implants there shouldn’t be too much food getting under the denture as it will be held firmly close to the gum
