After shattering her teeth my daughter was given a plate but dislikes it. Can she not have anything else until her teeth stop developing?

Q. My 12 year daughter shattered her front tooth in a bike accident in july. The nerve was removed and a small piece of the tooth remains. She has been given a plate by the dental hospital but it is very uncomfortable for her not to mention really obvious. They have advised that she cant have anything permanent untill she stops growing. Is there really nothing that can be done? She is becoming a teenager and I worry it will affect her confidence. I am willing to pay for private treatment. Please advise, Many thanks.,
A. I would try to consider an adhesive bridge. its true an implant can\’t be done till age 18-19 however an adhesive bridge is possible now to provide a fixed tooth instead of a denture
