Are dental implants performed at the dentist?

Q. Is the dental implant treatment something that can be done at the dentist or will I need to go to the hospital to get it done? It’s just that it sounds like quite an extensive form of treatment.
A. Most of the time it can be done in  dental practice, the most important thing is to find someone with experience in this type of treatment

Are dental implants performed at the dentist?

Q. Is the dental implant procedure performed at the dentist or is it necessary to go the hospital to get it done? I am having four dental implants, if that makes any difference. Also, would you usually recommend a patient take a day or two off work after the prcedure or is this not necessary?
A. Hi

Implants are usually placed by a trained implant dentist , and in many cases carried out at the practice. In simple cases which dont require any form of bone grafting, the patient can usually go to work the day after.
