Can I get implants after chemotherapy? Is this available on the NHS?

Q. hi dr moore after having gruelling chemo and radiotherapy for head and neck cancer my gums and teeth have really taken a lot and now its all getting worse my consultent has advised me to have implants done, but my dentist has said the nhs do not pay for much at all now not even bridges.i,m at my wits end i suffered so much when having treatment.now i,m still suffering my teeth have all started moving and look awfull please help me i,m slowly giving up and finding it more and more difficult to eat as some of my teeth ars quite loose.Can you help me kindest regards ,
A. Implants are not available on the NHS unless provided by the hospital treating you for the chemo. You should talk to your consultant as this maybe one of the rare occasions where you may be able get things done on the NHS
