Can my teeth be replaced with implants in a ‘one sitting’ visit?

Q. Dear Dr Solanki, I am looking at the possibility of having to replace my two front teeth (maxillary central incisors?) with implants (due to an accident the teeth were damaged). I am concerned about the process in a cosmetic sense as from what i understand the process can take 3-6 months. Are you \’without\’ teeth during this period or can a temporary bridge or crowns be fitted in the interim? Can these teeth be replaced with implants in a \’one sitting\’ visit? Many thanks in anticipation.,
A. Thank you for your enquiry. You are never left wihout any teeth during the healiing phase. We can place a temporary bridge or some patients opt for a temporary denture. Some patients can have the implants immediately loaded (crowns fitted same day) unfortunately I couldn\’t advise you on this untill i seen you for a consultation as this depends on your bone.
