I am just writing to find some more details on the dental implant procedure, and how long it actually takes. When I go to get my tooth extracted it it the norm to get the implant put in straight away or will I have to wait some time? If so, how long? Should I be worried that I can see dental implant poking through gums?

Just over two weeks ago I had a dental implant toward the back of my mouth. Anyway, it began to feel a bit loose, and to my absolute horror and astonishment, when I looked at it this morning I could actually see the implant coming out of my gums. I can only assume it has failed. Should I see my dentist as soon as? It suprisingly doesn’t hurt or look swelled.
