Can I get teeth replaced with all on 4 and then get grafting done at later date?

March 20th, 2012
Q.
Hello Dr Fahey, Can you advise on my current situation. Is it possible to have the all on 4 system in order to replace eight teeth on both the upper and lower jaw with a bridge rather then getting a denture. Then in a few years time to begin the more complex bone grafting/implants for the sinus area? I love the immediate function of all on 4 but do have doubts on the long term if all teeth are places just on 4 implants. I would appreciate your feedback on this situation if you have the time please.,

Bump remains from abscess but have been told it will go away. Can I still have an implant?

March 18th, 2012
Q.
Hello Dr Fahey. Can you please assist. I recently had a tooth extraction done after an infection and an abscess but there is still a bump there which is still yet to be gone away. My dentist has told me that it is bone deformation and that it will go away eventually, but i also wanted to have an implant put in to replace the existing tooth. In your professional opininon, do you think i wlll be able to and if so how long do you think it will take? many thanks for your time.,

Would an implant work to replace baby tooth when it falls out?

February 13th, 2012
Q.
Hi I have one tooth that is still a child tooth that never fell out. Apparently there is no replacement adult tooth behind it to replace it when it does fall out and according to the dentist it will fall out at some stage. Would an implant be the best method to fix the problem and would I have to get this done privately? Thanks,
dr nick fahey

Can I get financial help for teeth that are in bad state?

January 31st, 2012
Q.
Hello. I have a problem and need advice and help. Through years of neglect (sweets, sugary drinks etc) and lack of brushing, i have had to have teeth removed and fillings done. I completely admit this is my fault and sadly, now i am grown up, i am suffering the consequences. I have 4 missing on my bottom row and 2 missing from my top row. My two front teeth have fillings. Another reason for these problems is a fear of dentists, so i’ve not seeked help when younger. I appreciate this may also cost a lot and wonder if there is any financial help available. Thankyou for your time,
