Crown keeps falling out but dentist says this is because tooth was filed down too far (done at her practice). Please could you advise me?

Q. Dear Dr Fahey I had a crown fitted roughly a year and a half ago, I am feeling upset because it has come out at least 18 times in that time and has never felt right. My dentist say\’s that the tooth has been filed down too far, which was filled too far down in her practice. I am desparate to get this sorted out, but all the dentist does is put it back until it comes out again. Please could you advise me. Thank you so much. Kind regards. ,
