Dentist said he is not replacing Maryland bridge and offer crown. Please advise?

Q. I’ve had Maryland bridge on two upper tooth for seven years, one of wings came apart after one week, I wish it would stay cemented for longer period. My new dentist told me that he is not repairing Maryland bridges and offered me crowns. The teeth on either side of the gap which need to be trimmed are in good condition, so I do not want them to be trimmed. I wanted to find out if there is any possibility of recementing of bridge? Thank you.,
A. Of course it is difficult to say without looking at the bridge. One possible option is to have a new one but I am sure your dentist will advise you accordingly.
