Do I need to do the grafting before putting in the crown or can all that be done after the crown is placed?

Q. I had my implant done about 8 years ago. About 2 years ago my crown was replaced, unfurtunally when replacing the new crown to much cement was used and caused several infection until it was desided to be removed. Has since then had a smaler bone craft done and now a year later would like to get my \”tooth\” back (upper front) I undrstand that I do need additional boone and gum graft to restore what has been reduced by infection. My question is: Do I need to do the grafting before putting in the crown or can all that be done after the crown is placed? My implant has never been remopved and has been and is solid.,
A. Its probably best to graft before the crown is made, but its hard to tell without seeing you first.
