How do implants help to support dentures?

Q. I have decided that I am going to get some dental implants to help support my complete denture. However, I would appreciate it if you could tell me how many implants would generally be required to add support to a complete denture? Also, how do the implants help to support them. I find that my denture feels out of place quite a bit and it can be a hastle.
A. 2 for the lower and 4 for the upper are usually the minimum, if you place more implants then the denture becomes more stable
from the sound of things your denture may need replacing as well
the “world health organisation (who)” recognises the increased qual of life by using detal implants to stabilise lower dentures as described by the McGill consensus below
