How Long Do I Have To Wait For My Gums To Heal For Implants?

Q.
Hi there. I am considering having two dental implants next to each other in the molar region. Would I be able to have them both done at the same time?

I had a tooth out yesterday and the gums have stitches in. Do I need to wait for it to heal before having implants?

I have been told there are different levels of quality of implants. Is this correct?

I am thinking of going to Poland to have them done so I want to check that the quality of implant is good.

Thanks. I look forward to hearing your advice.

Thank you for writing in and seeking advice before you make such a big decision. You should wait at least four months for the bone to heal ideally. You should think seriously about having it done on the cheap in Poland. If something goes wrong you could find yourself with lots of problems that are difficult to sort out, if you had the same problems in the UK, you should have guarantees in place to protect you. Hope this helps, Dr Andrew Moore.
