How long will a dental bridge last?

Q. hello dr. i currently have a dental bridge and this is doing okay as far as i can tell. dentist never says there is a problem when i go for a checkup anyhow. but how long should a bridge last? and if i choose to get an implant to replace it when its gone would i be b est getting a bridge or crown for it? it is only the single tooth and my other teeth are in good cindition. thank you for your time.,
A. It is very difficult to say how long bridges last because it depends on the foundation, patients oral hygiene, the bite and the quality of the bridge. They can last upto 10 years.
