How many dental implants are required when all teeth are absent?

Q. How many dental implants would be required if all teeth are missing in the mouth? Are dental implants the right choice for such a circumstance. Also, any ideas on the possible price?
A. this is a difficult one to answer without a thorough assesment first as it depends on the bone quantity and quality as well as the number of teeth required. As a guide 10 teeth require 6 implants 12 teeth 8 implants and 14 teeth 10 implants. These numbers could be reduced if you have excellent bone. Repective costs start from £12k, £15K and £17K per arch
