I am experiencing some pressure from an Implant I had fitted 7 years ago, should I be worried?

Q.
Hi, about 7 years ago I had a bone graft followed by an upper lateral incisor implant done. I periodically experience pain above the actual implant. The type of pain is like an ache and increases when I press on the upper gums. The pain also radiates behind my nose. Could this type of pain just be sinus pressure, or could it be directly related to the implant procedure? The implant seems quite solid and strong, however bone loss is always a concern for me since the bone graft procedure. However, I’m only 25 years old. The gums look quite healthy from what I can tell. Any help or advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Its tricky to know whats causing this. the best thing to do is to ask your dentist to x-ray the implant and to see what the bone looks like, its very rare to get problems after this amount of time so it might be coming from somewhere else
