Q. i have not been to a dentist in years. pluck up the courage to see one, and when he finished assessing my teeth and gums, he said that mt gums would not be able to take implants because of bone structure and my age(52), he also cleaned them but afterwards they felt has if all the enamel had come away and now they are really sensitive to hot and cold! could you please advise?,
A. Hi If a patient does not have enough boen fore dental implant, then there is always the possibilty of having bone grafts to build up the bone. We routinely see patients in a similar position like you.
