I’m contemplating a dental bridge, am I suitable for one in my case?

Q. Hello, i have several missing teeth and contemplating a dental bridge because I\’ve had bad experiences with crowns and don\’t fancy implants. The only problem is the teeth next to were I want the bridge all have fillings in them, is it possible for me to still have the bridge? Thank you for your time.,
A. Thanks for your question. It\’s very difficult to say without having a comprehensive examination of your current oral health. A bridge may be an option for you, however the bridge does require the teeth either side to support it. If these teeth have been weakened by large fillings or Root Canal Treatments then they may not be suitable for supporting a bridge. Discuss the options with a dentist then you can make the decision you feel is appropriate for you.
