I may need bone grafting to get dental implants. How long is the process and how much does it cost?

Q.
I had a bridge Rt.upper gum,but one of the teeth had root canal treatment due to infection,It is not viable any more,it woun’t hold a bridge, been to dentist,& dentist explained that an implant would be better choice, but x-ray shows, bone at the root is very thin & nearly communicating with Max.sinus floor, may need bone grafting, can you please adv me as how long will be the process & as how much it will cost, thanks
A.
This type of case can be treated in 2 ways. one is to remove the tooth wait for 2-3 months graft the sinus then place the implants and final crowns once the bone has healed. this is used when the bone level is less than 7-8mm and takes around 6-9 months to complete. The other option is used when more bone is available; the sinus is tapped up and an implant placed at the same time, reducing treatment time to 4-6 months. we charge around £2500-3500 as a guide
