Q. Hi, I have a tooth missing (4th from the front upper jaw) and I was considering an Implant but at somepoint in the future I would like to have braces. Will having an implant placed now without an orthodontic consultation cause any implications for braces in the future?,
A. I would recommend a consultation with a an implant surgeon first so he can liase with an orthodontist from the beginning. This is how i carry out may combination cases. It would be better that you had the orthodontics first.
