If I have teeth removed is it possible to have implants at a later date?

Q. I have been advised to have teeth extracted after a gum infection but am distressed at the thought of being left with huge gaps between teeth. My question is if I agree to have teeth removed while I save up for implants are implants able to be used once my gums have healed and closed up? It may take me years to save up; will implants still be possible?,
A. You can always have dental implants. It just depends on how easy or expensive the treatment will be. The longer you leave it usually the more complex the situation.
