Implants feel uncomfortable and are rubbing against gums. What can be done?

Q. hello can you please offer some advice for my problem. my mother currently wears implants and they are causing a whole lot of trouble, rubbing her gums and just making her mouth feel uncomfortable. I have been looking for other options out there and i do like the ideas of implants for dentures something called all on 4 i think its called. What does this entail exactly because my mother is quite frail. thank you for your time dr,
A. Hello and thank you for your enquiry. In most cases it will go along these lines  1. there will be a  work up appointment 2. then fit CT scanning template and then followedf by doing CT scan 3. try in of new denture 4. surgery to place four implants and the new screw in denture on the same appt. Or 5. the denture is fitted 24 -48 hrs later 5./6. review 1 week later. I hope this will help you and your mother in this situation and wish you all the best.
