Q. I have lost a significant part of one of my back teeth. My dentist has built it up as a stop gap but he reckons this is just a temporary solution. would you recommend getting a crown or an implant? i’m worried that if i get a crown the tooth will be in such a bad statr that i will have to have it out eventually anwyay.,
A. Any competent dentist should be able to advise you if the tooth is worth saving. If it is then a crown would be a decent way of approaching the situation.
